FS Marble Work Requirements

 TEMPLATING
Our technicians will arrive at the job site to make accurate patterns of the area receiving stone treatment. Before the template trip is made certain requirements must be satisfied:
It is the customer’s responsibility to disconnect and remove the sink and cooker-top of the area being installed. Worktops should be removed before templating. FS Marble and Granite will not be responsible for tear out.
CABINET PLACEMENT & FASTENING: Kitchen cabinets must be set and fastened into their permanent location at the time of the template. The cabinets must be straight and level with one another especially when using 3cm granite. All reasonable effort should be made by the customer to ensure that cabinets are secured firmly to the wall, are level and have sufficient braces.

Tops must be removed prior to templating.

SINKS:
Over-mounted: If you choose an over-mounted sink it must be at the job site to allow our templaters to take exact cut out measurements.
Under-mounted: If you chose an under-mount sink, the sink must be fixed in to the cabinet in its final position to allow us to template the opening accurately and give the high quality finish that is expected. ( The sink doesn’t need to be plumbed in for templating or insulation )

The longest Granite length without a joint is 2500mm.
We reserve the right to position joints where we think most suitable. Granite upstands will only be fitted where walls are true.

INSTALLATION

Installation will take place approximately 10 to 14 business days from template. Sometimes it is less and sometimes it is more depending on the scope of work. Most installations will take one day to complete. We can only offer an expected time. We cannot accept any liability from any loss incurred from any delay in delivering our product.

The jobsite should have water and electricity available to the installers. We do not work on plumbing or electricity carpentry or other building work such as plastering. Others must handle all water and electrical disconnections and connections.
Please note that if carcasses are not ready on the day of templating or fixing and a return visit is required an extra charge will be made.
SPECIFICATION:

Every care has been taken to ensure the goods delivered correspond with the specification description or samples supplied (if any). However stone is a naturally occurring material and of a rustic nature, some variation in colour, size, finish and thickness should be expected. It is not possible to guarantee the goods will be equal to the description or sample in every respect. Some of these materials may contain natural variation in colour and pitting. We reserve the right to treat, repair and use these materials wherever necessary.

Payment terms:

A 50% deposit is required upon approval of job proposal or purchase order.
Payment of the remaining balance is due on the day the job is completed.

Ownership

All materials supplied remain the property of the FS Marble until full and final payment has been acknowledged.
